I simply swoon over the upper East side of Manhattan. Here are some fun details that caught my eye. Happy Friday!!
Alex is headed to NYU to continue her education, but before she leaves, her awesome mother, Debra, wanted professional modeling shots taken. We decided to take an editorial approach instead of traditional studio head shots. Alex is so beautiful, and I love the dress with floral wreath! Special thanks to Nathan of Hens and Chicks and Travis for their amazing help on short notice. Having such talented people for vendors makes all the difference in your final product. Thank you!

So excited to be part of this shoot. The model was naturally beautiful and Joey captured the very essence of her beauty. He has such a unique and natural way of photographing his ideas and visions.

As the mother of the model, I just wanted to say it was a real pleasure to work with Joey Kennedy. What a creative genius! His work is stunning, and we could not be more pleased. His photography truly brought out Alex’s natural beauty and captured her essence. We also appreciated the contributions by Travis and Nathan! All in all, this was a great experience.

Joey Kennedy has such an abundance of talent, which makes it so easy and comfortable to work with him.
On the set of the photo shoot, my experience was enjoyable, professional and fun! He always offers positive feedback and gives the best suggestions fit specifically for you.
I am beyond excited with the results so far, and know that I will be blown away with the rest of the photos from Joey. I am eager and confident to use these outstanding and one-of-a-kind photos as my portfolio in New York.
Thank you again, I am so glad I found you and the team of people you provided, Travis and Nathan, who worked with me to complete the final product!
-
Thank you Debra! You listened to my vision, then enabled it to happen! THank you for believing!
-
Thank you Alexandra! I hope your career in New York will bring us together again as professionals there.
-
Well, Joey, you did it again! You have a way of photographing that has such depth and is way more special than just showing pretty things in pretty settings. Keep it up!

Beautiful photos of a beautiful young lady . . . Well done, Joey. Knock ’em dead, Miss Alex!
So of much of this job is getting to know people! Once the ice is broken, it is time to squeeze the shutter and see what happens. I adore Dana’s playful style and vintage 1960′s dress; it made me feel like we were shooting a “vintage” Vogue session. Dana and Adam wanted their photos to be about their life in the lower east side of New York City. Check back for more on this fun couple!

Engagement sessions are about more than just photos, it’s about getting to know your clients. By the end of this NYC session, we had become friends; this makes the session special, and it allows me to capture some beautiful moments between the couple. Lindsay and Andrew are amazing people, and this shoot was SO much fun. We took two trains and two cabs across New York City to race against the fading light. I love the last light of the day; it changes every second, and I love how the pinks turn to lavender then to blue. Congrats to Lindsay & Andrew!
